Editorial policy
Eastern Ventures aims to make travel writing clear, considered and useful beyond the moment of publication. We explain the scope of a piece and take care not to present preference as universal fact.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and use precise language when a point is uncertain or open to interpretation. Articles should make clear when they describe a general idea rather than current conditions at a particular destination. Readers should verify time-sensitive details with relevant local sources before travelling.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not promise favourable coverage in exchange for payment or another benefit.
Corrections
If you believe a published item contains an error, contact us through the Contact page and describe the passage and the concern. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted, making the nature of a substantive correction clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported material is identified clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Illustrations may be AI-generated; where their origin could affect how an image is understood, we label them accordingly.
